House rules
From the hosts’ listing and rental agreement. Booking means agreeing to them.
No parties or events
Quiet hours are 10 PM to 6 AM. No fireworks.
No pets
Unauthorized pets mean immediate removal and a $1,000 fee.
No smoking or vaping inside
Smoking indoors carries a minimum $1,000 odor-removal fee.
10 guests at most
Infants are not counted. The person booking must be 22 or older.
Supervise children
Especially around the fire pit and the hot tub.
No early check-in or late checkout
The cleaning team needs the time. Late checkouts may be charged $2 per minute after 10 AM.
Keep the owner’s closet closed
A locked closet near the front door is not for guest use.
Return the fireplace remote
The indoor fireplace is electric. The remote lives on the mantel.
Paid in full at booking
Direct bookings are paid in full when you reserve. No deposit is charged today, though the rental agreement lets the hosts ask for a refundable one for some stays.
Ask about cancellation
The direct-booking cancellation terms appear at checkout. If you need them before you book, message the hosts. On Airbnb this cabin refunds in full up to 14 days before check-in.
Weather is not a reason to refund
The hosts do not refund trips cancelled for weather. Travel insurance covers that if you want it.
Safety at the cabin
Alarms and kit
Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit.
Cameras outside only
Exterior cameras face the parking area and entrances. None inside.
Hot tub
The hosts advise against using it if you are pregnant or have been drinking.
Bears
Lock your car, use the bear-proof trash bin and never feed or approach a bear.
The road
Paved mountain road with some steep stretches. Four-wheel drive helps in snow.
Emergencies
Call 911. LeConte Medical Center is 14 minutes away.
